At Starbucks, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and improve different parts of the business.
Overall, I designed, built, tested, deployed, and maintained the global Starbucks web platform; and helped grow the team and culture.
Here’s a few highlights…
Initially, I helped refresh all of starbucks.com to utilize a new CMS and a fresh set of accessible and semantic layouts.
Later, I introduced responsive web design alongside a major anniversary brand refresh.
This lead to a fully responsive redesign that worked on a wide range of devices and viewport sizes (improving the customer experience and garnering accolades from industry leaders).
Along the way, I introduced and maintained a living style guide / pattern library that improved code reuse, collaboration, and efficiency (and later received its own notoriety).
